In a sunny June afternoon, waiting for the moment to present my bachelors paper, I was browsing the World Wide Web, and suddenly I noticed an attractive advertisement in a news portal. I still remember the main phrases used: it was something like “Do you want to join the best IT company?” I just clicked the banner and received my first information about Accenture office in Riga. I understood immediately that joining this company would bring me great opportunities to develop my professional qualification and career. I decided to try out and take a chance.

I started my way in Accenture with Java Training School – 4 weeks course for professionals of tomorrow. During those weeks I learned a lot and afterwards I was offered to join a friendly Siebel Community of Riga Delivery Centre. Siebel is not a common technology in Latvia, thus I found this job motivating and interesting.

Just after completing two weeks “Siebel Core Developer School” course, I was involved in the largest Siebel project. There I could immediately test my knowledge in practice and improve my skills on daily basis.

I started with small and easy development tasks; later on with experience gained I was given more tasks, the responsible ones.

Even after half a year in Riga Delivery Centre every day still brings new challenges and opportunities. I believe that it is very important to have a job that raises interest in you and motivates to overcome challenges.

Accenture is a great place to work and I am still excited about the given opportunity to be a part of this team.
