Q. Why do you prefer to accept online applications?
A. Our online process gives you the opportunity to access information about our vision, our goals and the structure of our network of businesses. This will help you understand us as a company better and highlights which areas may best suit your career needs. This online process also helps us to capture all your details in a manner that will route your application to the right people, and that your details will not be misplaced or delayed in the process. Read more on How to Apply and Hot Tips.

Q. As a consultant, what will I do if I am not scheduled on an assignment?
A.
Consulting work is project-based. You will be scheduled on an assignment based on your skills and availability. If there is no suitable project, you may spend some time in the office. This time may be spent working on business development proposals or research and new business initiatives for your work
group, or working on training courses that will enhance your skill
set. If you work as part of Accenture Technology Solutions or as
part of Accenture’s Outsourcing business units, you will typically
work on long-term client programmes.

Q. What support structure is available to me?
A.
We recognize that the structure of a project-based services firm may be different from your previous experiences. We have a structure in place that will give new hires many points of reference. You will be assigned a permanent formal career counsellor whose role is to help you achieve your career goals and expectations at Accenture, to provide regular feedback and mentoring. He or she will also be responsible for conducting your performance feedback discussions. You will also find support through your human resources advisor who can help with general queries, as well as those specific to your training and development and first project.

Q. What salary is Accenture offering?
A.
Accenture employees are critical to our success. We recognise their commitment and contribution for delivering superior business solutions by offering a competitive Total Rewards package.

Our Total Rewards are, depending on your level, a mix of base and variable pay, equity, benefits and professional growth. We also offer recognition programs, such as our Above & Beyond Recognition Program, as well as an Employee Referral Recruitment Bonus, community social activities and more.

Q. What additional benefits can I expect as an employee?
A.
Your rewards structure will vary as you progress within the company. Some of the benefits of working with Accenture include:

In addition, a range of policies exists to make your life easier at Accenture. They include benefits such as parental leave, corporate credit card, airline frequent flyer program, leave of absence and career breaks, and a flexible workplace. You will also have fun by participating in a wide range of regular social and cultural activities through the community group events and affiliations with community and cultural bodies.

Q. How will I know if I have joined at the right level?
A.
At Accenture our aim is for our experienced hires to have the greatest opportunity to succeed and make a smooth transition into Accenture. During the interview process your skills will be assessed from a number of different angles and an entry level determined by all of the people you have met. This level will most likely be one that will challenge you, but also allow you the chance to showcase the skills that you have developed.
