The Work You'll Do
People in our Enterprise workforce manage and operate Accenture’s own business functions and support our client teams. This workforce is comprised of people in the following areas:
Each of these is different – but they do have several goals in common, including:
Training & Development
At Accenture, we value the opportunity for our people to continuously learn and build skills. We emphasize what we call continuous learning – the ongoing process of leveraging work experience, learning support and performance feedback to maximize one’s potential.
Three components of continuous learning reflect the various ways in which we learn and build skills within our jobs:
The people managing Accenture’s business are provided with specific curriculum relevant to their area of expertise. This is managed by their business area, and is supplemented with professional development opportunities provided to all people involved in managing the Accenture business.
Our professional curriculum consists of courses and other learning assets that are applicable across the workforce and focuses on general professional skill building in areas such as leadership, facilitation and project management. Our core curriculum focuses on building baseline professional skills such as value creation, relationship building and ethics.
Professional Community
Additionally, our Enterprise workforce professionals are part of our Canadian community. These communities can consist of other individuals in the same business practice or workgroup, and are part of networking and skill building. Community meetings are also used as a vehicle for training and for reinforcing Accenture values and leadership content.
The people who manage our business perform a variety of jobs. These jobs are mainly situated in locations where they are most relevant to the work being performed. These locations are in any of the countries in which we operate, and may be at a client site, in a shared services center, or in an Accenture office.
Travel for these professionals is on an as needed basis; in most situations it is limited. Many work in close proximity to their teammates, though some individuals work in a more virtual environment.
Benefits & Rewards
Accenture rewards are based on our business strategy, and are balanced between global consistency and local relevance. Our rewards are performance driven and are governed by the relevant business organization for which you work. Our rewards structure will vary based upon the work you perform, as well as the level and geography in which you reside and may include one or more of the following:
We offer challenging work with the ability to work with other highly skilled professionals. Accenture in Canada has a reputation for employing skilled, motivated and talented people.
