Our recruiting process includes Accenture Canada campus events where employees and recruiters visiting campuses across Canada to meet with talented students who are looking to launch a career in consulting.

Every year, Accenture employees and recruiters visit campuses across Canada to meet with talented students who are looking to launch a career in consulting. Please check with your Career Center to see if we are visiting your campus or check for updates to our event calendar.

Step 1: Attend our information sessions

At the beginning of the school year, we visit universities across Canada and host information sessions about our career opportunities and recruiting process. During these sessions, you will be able to interact with Accenture professionals from different workgroups and career levels to find out more about us.

Step 2: Fill out an application

When we are actively recruiting, our entry-level positions are posted online. Please be prepared to provide an electronic copy of your resume, covering letter and transcript or progress report in your application. Please note, applying online is the only method of application used by Accenture. Apply online now.

If you do not see an entry-level analyst posting, it may be because we have filled our demand, or are not actively recruiting at this time. Please feel free to explore other positions that may be of interest outside of our Consulting workforce.

Step 3: Your first call

Once received by our campus recruiting team, your application will be carefully considered against our business needs and the requirements of the position you are applying for. You will be contacted by an Accenture representative approximately two weeks after our application deadline, regardless of whether or not you are chosen for a first-round interview. If you are selected for a first-round interview, the Accenture representative will coordinate the logistics with you.

Step 4: The selection process

Your first meeting will be a preliminary discussion with an Accenture representative designated for your school. This is a good opportunity for you to highlight your background, career goals, activities and other pertinent information. If it seems like there is fit, the Accenture representative may schedule a second interview to discuss in more detail your experience (both educational and personal) as it would relate to working at Accenture. You may be asked for specific examples of situations encountered and how you handled them. You will be contacted shortly after your first interview to indicate whether you will proceed to the second interview or not.

If these preliminary discussions are successful, you will be invited to an office visit.

Step 5: The Accenture office visit

The objective of the visit is for you to learn more about our company from our employees—senior executives and our recruiting team—while allowing us time to make final assessments of your qualifications. The office visit is usually a full day and includes a presentation on the company from a local office perspective, a roundtable panel discussion with consultants and two formal assessment components. Usually the office visit takes place at an office close to your school, not necessarily at the location where you wish to obtain a position.

Step 6: The offer

If you are successful, a recruiting representative will contact you to offer you a position within a few weeks of your last interview. The recruiter will also provide details of your start date, training, compensation, benefits, position and location. He or she will be glad to answer any questions and help guide you through your decision-making process. A new joiner’s start date is determined by a combination of business needs and a new joiner’s preference.

Step 7: After you are hired

You have accepted an offer of employment from one of the most dynamic and exciting employers around! What next? Breathe a sigh of relief. What a great feeling to know that after a rewarding academic experience, you are set to begin your professional career with Accenture!

Your recruiting representative will stay in touch until your official start with Accenture. She or he will be available to assist with this transition as you complete your school year and prepare to begin your career with us.
