Through internships and conferences, many students are involved with Accenture before they even graduate.
Accenture offers paid undergraduate summer internships in various locations across Canada. We recruit for summer internships in two of our groups:
Internships last 10 to 12 weeks and typically begin in late May/early June and end in mid-August/early September. All work terms provide a stimulating and dynamic environment where you will participate in a variety of roles, including those of a full-time consulting analyst.
Watch for more details on our summer internship program soon.
Accenture hosts the Student Leadership Conference for its summer interns and the “bestand brightest” candidates from our key schools in the United States and Canada.
The conference provides you with the opportunity to explore Accenture's commitment to professional development, as well as develop useful skills you can apply to academic life, employment and extracurricular activities. Hopefully, these skills will also help you establish a successful career. The conference provides both an educational and a social environment.
For the eighteenth year running, we hosted the annual Student Leadership Conference on July 25 to 27, 2008 at our training centre in St. Charles, Illinois. Selected attendees from Canada, the United States and Puerto Rico had the opportunity to explore theAccenture philosophy and how we help our clients achieve high performance in their marketplaces. While honing their leadership skills in groups led by Accenture faculty, the students participated in several team-building events and challenges throughout the weekend. They also met a lot of other talented students and had fun along the way!
