As an entry-level analyst, you will receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development.

Your first week with Accenture will be spent in New Joiner Orientation, becoming familiar with our culture and the way we manage our work. At the end of this week, you will have heard about Accenture’s business strategy and how we create value.

The New Joiner Orientation will make you aware of the tools and knowledge assets that you can use to move up the learning curve quickly so you can immediately add value to clients. You’ll know about our core values and the ethics of working at Accenture. And you’ll have started up relationships with colleagues at all levels - relationships that connect you to our global network of talented people.

The following two weeks are more specialized and will be dedicated to learning concepts and skills related to the Consulting workgroup you have been placed. If you are joining the Systems Integration Consulting or Technology Consulting work groups, you will take part in the Solution Delivery Fundamentals course, to help you understand the technical work we often undertake on consulting engagements. If you are joining the Management Consulting work group, you will take part in the Business Consulting Fundamentals course, to help you understand the strategic work we deliver to our clients.

Core Analyst School

In their first year, all entry-level recruits attend Core Analyst School, an intensive, two-week training course at our Global training centre in St. Charles, just outside Chicago, Illinois. Through a rigorous set of learning experiences, you’ll discover how to deliver quality solutions with a high degree of competence using the same tools and methods you’ll use on the job. You’ll develop a thorough understanding of how each workgroup in the Consulting workforce builds value for our clients. There will also be plenty of opportunities to focus on developing personal, professional and people skills that will help you every day of your career.

The Core Analyst School is an excellent opportunity for you to learn and hone your professional skills. It is part of Accenture’s commitment to developing deep skills in our people.

Finally, we will prepare you for your first assignment. Depending on the project, this could involve additional training - e.g. industry training, skills training in a particular capability or function, or specific technology tools training.
