The structured problem solving approach generally parallels the approach we take in our consulting engagements. The approach we use is as follows:

• Decompose problem
• State hypotheses
• Test hypotheses
• Summarize Findings

Success in the case interview depends on both your actual response to the case as well as your delivery.

• Engage the interviewer throughout
• Communicate articulately and persuasively
• Demonstrate flexibility and poise

• Be decisive
