About Me

My relationship with Accenture began after noticing a brochure in my university student lounge. Raised in Montreal, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Montreal, obtaining a B.Sc. in Computer Science. However, my greatest interest lay in applying my knowledge of technology and information systems to business processes. Seeing the brochure convinced me that Accenture would provide me with the greatest opportunity for professional satisfaction and growth.

Joining Accenture

I first started with Accenture in 1983 as an Analyst in the Products operating group, grew in responsibilities to Senior Manager over 10 years, left, and after five years working in the food industry, I returned to Accenture as a Senior Executive in 1998.

Working Life

Working at Accenture means working with the brightest individuals available. Everyone has a great personality, thrives on challenge, and has a “can-do” attitude to make things happen. Your projects and client assignments change constantly but the high caliber of people you work with remains constant.

Balancing Work and Life

I work hard to ensure I am home to spend quality time with my family. It might mean starting work early, or staying late, but I try to maximize the quality of my time at home. In my spare time, I act as the Vice President of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (Québec Division) and sponsor the annual United Way Campaign in the Montreal office. I also try to keep some control over my three teenagers…

Current Projects

Client satisfaction is the underlying goal behind every project. However, clients are becoming increasingly demanding of the services we provide. The challenge of finding innovative ways to improve their businesses and achieve the satisfaction of the client is the most exciting aspect of my job.

Advice to Recruits

Stay with Accenture as long as you can! Refuse the job offers you get when you are with us. Open your mind, eyes, and ears . . . you learn so much as an employee here, without even realizing it. You will not find another organization where you grow faster as an individual.
