Guangzhou Association of Women with Disabilities, 2009
Accenture is providing free-of-charge spoken English training to the members of Guangzhou Association of Women with Disabilities ahead of the “Regional Conference on Women with Disabilities, 2010.” This will enable the members of Guangzhou Association—co-organizers of the conference—to communicate confidently with foreign delegates.

Longtan Village Children Welfare House in Wafangdian City, 2009
Accenture people in Dalian visited the Children’s Welfare House in Longtan village, Wafangdian City before The Children’s Day (Jun.1, 2009). They visited a group of special children who live with foster families, and have either physical or mental disabilities.

Dalian University of Technology Poor Students Help & Employment Consulting, 2008
Accenture helps poor students from Dalian University of Technology in return traveling expenses and career planning advisory events, where volunteers share their own working experience with the students, and advise them to take some cares in work, and propose many useful suggestions in the students' future, education, employment and others.

Caritas Little Reporter, Hong Kong, 2007
Caritas is a Hong Kong-based social charity that provides rehabilitation, medical and educational services for children, youth, elderly and the family. The Little Reporter scheme aims to teach basic English to young children from deprived backgrounds thus building their confidence to communicate with others. We also provide fun activities as well as taking them outside their regular environment.

Last Hour of the Year of the Dog, Hong Kong, 2006
Accenture employees in Hong Kong donated the last hour of their salary from the Year of the Dog to charity. The money is used to support Dalian Children’s School and a rehabilitation centre, and to purchase new medical supplies.

Dalian Children’s Village, Dalian Delivery Center, 2005
Dalian Children’s Village, initiated by the Accenture Asia Pacific Shared Services Center team,is progressively making a difference to the lives of 93 fostered, handicapped kids living in the Children’s Village. Our funding has backed the set up of a child health and rehabilitation center, providing essential general welfare services to children in the village. Our volunteers have also enriched the lives of the children through physical interaction and the donation of personal effects.
