Qinjiakan Accenture Hope Primary School, Sichuan, 2009
As a part of rehabilitation after disaster in Sichuan, in 2009, Accenture invested to plan and build Qinjiakan Accenture Hope Primary School. The school was built may resist earthquake magnitude IX, and is made from environment-friendly materials and design.

Accenture Huaxing Migrant School, Shanghai, 2008
This school provides education to the kids of migrant workers. Accenture worked with the Shanghai Education Development Fund to provide financial
support to improve school facilities, aid poor students,
and set up scholarships for both students and teachers.

Hong Kong Oxfam's community program (Oxfam Trailwalker), Hongkong, 2007
Over a weekend in November, a team of 4 walkers from Accenture HK with a group of dedicated round-the-clock supporters took part in the annual Oxfam Hong Kong Trailwalker hiked 35 hours continuously to raise money for development projects in Asia and Africa. In addition, the largest initiative in the Oxfam community program is the raising of funds to support the redevelopment of Lianhe Primary School in the Guizhou province of China. By being the main sponsor to this project, Accenture will be providing a safe and healthy environment in which more than 400 children in one of the poorest regions of China will receive adequate education.

Beixinzhuang Elementary School, Beijing, 2007
Accenture provided financial support to Beixinzhuang Elementary School in Ping’gu district in mid 2007. With the financial support from Accenture, the school was able to renovate its school buildings. In recognition of our support, the school is called “Accenture Hope School.” With the participation by our employees and cooperation from the school and the local government, Accenture will build a sustainable and strategic relationship with the school in the long term.

Tongchanghe Accenture Primary School, Yunnan, 2006
Tongchanghe Accenture Primary School, situated in a mountainous area, accommodates pupils of between five and eight years old from the surrounding villages. Thanks to Accenture’s support, these children now have clean, safe classrooms and a brighter future. The school is sponsored by the Accenture Delivery Center in China: donations from employees are matched dollar-for-dollar by Accenture. Almost 200 employees contributed to this program.

Interactive Education Centre, Hong Kong, 2005
The Interactive Education Centre is one of the key initiatives in the Hong Kong Oxfam corporate citizenship program. Through intensive, interactive, experiential learning and training programs, primary to secondary school students are exposed to global citizenship issues and equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to act as global citizens. The programs also encourage students to spread the corporate citizenship message and share their knowledge and experiences with others.

Xing Jia Weekend School, Shanghai, 2005
We committed funds to Xing Jia School’s operational cost in FY05. The school supports children from handicapped families in Shanghai.

Accenture Shanxi Hope Elementary School, Mainland China, 1997
Accenture has supported this school since 1997. It has been totally rebuilt and transformed from a neglected elementary school in one of China’s underprivileged villages in Shaanxi province into a respectable school for promising young students. Hope missions are organized on a regular basis to enable our employees to meet the kids in the flesh.
