The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) announced plans to build an improved and upgraded version of its global climate change disclosure system. Procter & Gamble (P&G) is teaming with Accenture to transform P&G’s global Web technology infrastructure and on-line digital capability. Accenture people make “40,000 carbon tons” of impact with Eco Challenge
From June 5 to August 31, 32,100 people took the Accenture Employee Eco Challenge. That accounts for 19 percent of Accenture’s workforce who collectively pledged to reduce their carbon footprint by more than 40,000 tons. These pledges amount to the same amount of carbon emitted by taking 28,000 flights between London and New York.
