Internal Technology Infrastructure (CIO Organization) is responsible for Accenture's information technology (IT) infrastructure and for implementing our internal IT strategy. The services we provide include: help desk services, network services, data center services, workstation support, telecommunications and IT product and services.
Facilities and Services provides on-site facilities management, executive support services, office services, real estate, travel and workplace research and development.
The Finance business practice is responsible for our financial integrity and results. It operates across several functional areas to ensure that Accenture’s financial reporting is accurate, consistent and compliant with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), US GAAP policies and principles, and local statutory rules and regulations. The team also acts as a strategic business partner for other parts of the company, for example, advising and structuring client deals that make the best use of Accenture capital and resources.
The Human Resources business practice has a wide set of responsibilities. It develops and manages Accenture’s performance management process, leadership development , learning strategy, compensation strategy, recruiting, new joiner orientation, reporting processes, training tools and initiatives.
Investor Relations professionals are part of our Enterprise workforce helping to manage and operate the Accenture business. These professionals lead efforts to maintain Accenture's relations and communication with its shareholders and the Wall Street analysts.

The Legal business practice provides or manages all legal advice and support for Accenture. The Marketing and Communications business practice is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that help build our global brand, increase industry esteem and preference, and establish ownership of the market space. Marketing and Communications people are involved in a range of activities from advertising, market research and brand management to marketing thought leadership initiatives and industry insights, and promoting Accenture’s capabilities and services. Business Operations and Architecture people have a variety of responsibilities involving the management of processes and tools related to new business development, quality, client satisfaction, records management and contract compliance. Some people work in our shared services centers handling transactional processes like issuing purchase orders and managing supplier invoices while others drive or support strategic programs that make Accenture’s internal operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The Research group is dedicated to the creation of original research and authoritative insights on strategic business issues and technology advances shaping the future while aligning with Accenture's business strategy.
The Sales Development workgroup consists of sales and sales support professionals who lead and manage the selling process of Accenture’s consulting and outsourcing capabilities. They also develop and manage alliance business relationships, and actively promote alliance offerings.
