Our Business Operations and Architecture people ensure that Accenture’s internal business processes are efficient, streamlined and support the needs of the client teams. Responsibilities vary, but most individuals focus on delivering processes and tools to support our business approval, quality and client satisfaction processes.
We look for people with a certain amount of business acumen and a broad understanding of business. Business Operations and Architecture professionals tend to work independently, but are expected to interact with Accenture’s senior leadership, operating groups and/or client groups. As a result, they have to be able to communicate well with people of all levels. You will also need strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
Our work can have a big impact on the business. Business Operations professionals do the research and analysis that lead to major decisions, such as setting earning goals for the organization, or to major projects that support our client leadership. In a company of our size, you will have more opportunities to learn about multiple aspects of big business and to work on high-impact projects and processes.
Professionals in the Business Architecture group design, implement and/or support global programs to improve Accenture’s internal operations and the way we do business. We also have people working in our shared services centers supporting the business in transactional processes such as issuing purchase orders, processing supplier invoices, and dealing with inquiries, contract management or workspace/conference room reservations.
