Work Environment

Consulting professionals play a central role in developing, selling and managing multifaceted projects that draw on Accenture's skills and services in a fast-paced environment. The risks are often high, but so are the rewards. Most members of the Consulting workforce work closely and collaboratively with the client's own people and serve as frontline experts on a project.

Owing to close client contact required by Consulting-driven projects, most people work primarily at the client site. We recognise the need to maintain a balance between work and personal lives and, therefore, have created a flexible approach that gives people options where they work when they are away from the client site.

Shaped by a Set of Enduring Values

Accenture traces its roots back to 1953, with the installation of the first computer for business application at General Electric. Since then, our business, our people and even our name have evolved. However, one thing remains the same—our core values that shaped the culture and defined the character of our company from the outset. Stewardship, Best People, Client Value Creation, One Global Network, Respect for the Individual and Integrity are not just words, they guide our behaviour and help us make decisions.

Best People

Join Accenture and you will find people who challenge conventional thinking, offer unique perspectives and generate innovative ideas. You get to work for a company rich in culture and values.

A Great Place to Work

Accenture is truly a great place to work. We believe a motivated workforce is one that has an active say in shaping the future of the company and some of our people initiatives go a long way toward achieving this goal. A case in point is the Management Advisory Committee—a core group which has top performers in the organisation with representation across all levels. You could be a part of this committee that analyses the market and recommend changes in our strategy to improve performance.

Although the challenges are unique and rewarding, the hours may be long at times. However, as a flexible, forward-thinking employer, we provide you with options and flexibility to help you enjoy a healthy work-life balance and an outstanding benefits programme that fully rewards you for your time.

Accenture supports flexible work arrangements for employees as a means to achieve personal and professional balance. These options include initiatives, such as flextime, part-time telecommuting/work from home and regular fly backs to the home location. You can also benefit from benefits, such as concierge support services and membership at various health clubs at some of their locations.
