Our Consulting workforce is at the heart of our ability to innovate and deliver results that help create high performance. To be considered for a role in our Consulting workforce, candidates need to have a variety of technical skills and an interest in working in functional, industry and project management areas. You need to have strong problem-solving and business and communication skills, as well as a willingness to work hard and to travel for work.

We also hire university graduates who have demonstrated excellent academic performance in disciplines such as Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Management and Information Systems, Organisational Design and Psychology. We also look for people who are able to differentiate themselves by doing something “extra”. Candidates who hold MBAs are encouraged to apply.

Our professionals help to develop the ideas that enable companies to boost profits, solve thorny issues or transform the way they do business. Accenture Consultants provide expertise in Change Management, Customer Relationship Management, Finance and Performance Management, Human Resources Management, Service Management, Strategy and Supply Chain Management, and Workforce Management.

How we work together to deliver High Performance

Accenture is all about teamwork and collaboration – both with our clients and in terms of how our people work together every day. Once we begin a new project, we assemble a team of people to work on it. The combination of skills and expertise is dictated by the nature of the project and it’s the job of the team leads to assemble the right people for the job. The number of people working in the team will vary over the lifetime of the project, depending on the workload and the specific skills required.

A typical team is likely to involve people from different levels and different workforces. Our global presence means we can draw these people from all over the world depending on the client requirements and the skills needed. Each team member has a unique role and is responsible for delivering their part of the solution, but can always rely on the rest of the team for support and inspiration.

Once someone has completed an assigned role in that team, they will move on to another project, where they can apply the skills they have been learning to another client. This range of experiences means Accenture people can rapidly become experts in their field and continue to grow professionally.
