As a global organisation, Accenture has a responsibility to engage proactively with the communities in which we live and work…and it is a responsibility we take very seriously. We view corporate citizenship as an important way to live our core values: Stewardship, Client Value Creation, Respect for the Individual, Integrity, Best People and One Global Network. Accenture supports the passion and energy of our people to create positive change—both locally and globally—through their commitment of time, skills and much-needed funds.
In Accenture Ireland, corporate citizenship is both a way of thinking about the way we do business and also a structured programme of activities for directly contributing to the wider communities in which we work. Corporate citizenship is an ethos that is embedded in everything that we do—from our environmental impact and our client relationships to our diversity policies and involvement in the community. Accenture’s overall corporate citizenship theme is “Building Opportunities”. We work with organisations that fall into the categories of (disadvantaged) youth, education and disability by providing them with financial support, fundraising through the Charity Committee and using our two “charity days” (paid leave) to assist them with various tasks.
All of our corporate citizenship programmes seek tangible results, promoting sustainable livelihoods through skills-building in the local communities in which we operate.
