Consulting - Counseling

"It is good that there is always somebody ready to give you advice and to guide you throughout your career"

Mentoring and guidance are an essential part of the Accenture culture. It allows you to build relationships and learn from our more experienced professionals.

Accenture provides career guidance from a number of sources:
-current supervisors on your project
-formal and informal mentoring through a career counselor
-human resource representatives.

A few more words about the most important support:

Career counseling
The career counseling provides real support. This person is someone you can address to and who is not related to the project you are working on. It is someone who is allocated by the HR representative on the basis of your profile and is at least two career levels higher. Everyone at Accenture has a career counselor. You can talk about all kinds of practical questions, specific problems when they arise and also more generally about the direction of your career.

Formal Feedback
Typically, an Accenture professional will receive formal feedback at least once every six months, as well as regular informal feedback. Annual salary reviews and salary adjustments reward your successes. Promotions are based on business need, strong job performance and demonstrated proficiency in the required skills.

Of course, you ultimately are responsible for setting your own career direction, and the support and inspiration you need to do so is available in our success-oriented environment.
