Accenture hires professionals who possess a variety of skills and interests in functional, industry and project management areas. A willingness to travel is beneficial if you join our traditional consulting organization. The majority of experienced professionals join the firm at the consultant or manager level. Typically someone joining at consultant level has three to six years related work experience. Someone joining at manager level would typically have seven to ten years related work experience. We also hire candidates directly from universities. Those possessing graduate degrees typically join at the analyst level. Excellent academic performance is required, but we also look for people who have distinguished themselves by doing something "extra." Candidates who possess advanced degrees including M.B.A.s are also hired directly from university. Their work experiences as well as academic performance determine the level at which they'll be hired.
