Describe your background

I have an MBA - one year with international trade and marketing and two years with economics and administration. I had one year of work experience before I joined Accenture in 2005. I worked as a bank clerk for a finance company in Nottingham, UK. So you could say I came more or less straight from university to Accenture.

Why did you choose Accenture?

First of all, Accenture seemed like a serious company and a company who valued career-seeking people. As a recent graduate, this was quite important to me. Accenture would allow and encourage further personal development. So I thought, "Perfect! What an excellent place to start out my career." Also, the chance to work for different large-scale oil companies, but still for the same employer, sounded like an opportunity I could not miss.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the fact that there are so many career opportunities here. I also like how project work is combined with day-to-day tasks. It makes work more challenging and more inspiring. I also like the people working here. There's a great atmosphere here and a lovely sense of team spirit. And I love the flexibility at Accenture.

What are you working on now?

Right now I am working as a senior accountant at the Petoro team, where some of my tasks include oil-sale, analysis, controlling and reporting. I have also been involved in projects such as eBilling, ICCR (Internal Control Compliance Review) and asset structure changes. I will soon be joining the Gaz de France team to take on new tasks and challenges. It will be one more step towards further development… again!!
