Describe your background

I hold a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian University of Science of Technology, with a specialization in Industrial Economics and Technology Management.

Why did you choose Accenture?

There are a few reasons why I chose Accenture. For starters, I wanted to work somewhere where I could learn problem-solving methods. I wanted to learn how to structure and break down a complex problem into many small and solvable problems. I also wanted to build a comprehensive business understanding and knowledge about several industries. Accenture has an exciting research initiative—our High Performance Business Study—that examines characteristics of leading companies. I wanted to understand these characteristics and help clients achieve them. The final reason I chose Accenture was the company's focus on personal development. Accenture has a training program and formal feedback procedures that offer an excellent opportunity to constantly grow personally and professionally.

What do you like most about your job?

Accenture has given me the opportunity to work in a very pleasant and collaborative environment where everybody is interested in helping each other move forward. That means I’ve been able to “dive into the deep end” without drowning, knowing that help and support are available when I need it. Accenture has helped develop my knowledge, personal skills and executive qualities.

What are you working on now?

Today, I work with Management Consulting at Accenture. I belong to the Strategy practice, where I focus mostly on creating growth strategies for companies. I am also part of a group that specializes in helping companies create value by becoming more environmentally aware.
