Consultants, people in our Accenture Technology Solutions and those working on outsourcing jobs usually work off-site—in the offices of our clients. Those working for us in support functions are often based in local offices of Accenture. If I’m working off site, how will I stay connected to Accenture? We help you stay connected to Accenture in a number of ways. You will be a part of regular training to hone specific skills, and be invited to special meetings and local office events so that you can meet and interact with colleagues beyond your immediate project team. Accenture also has regular electronic newsletters and communiqués—on the local and firmwide levels—to help you stay informed. Will I work internationally? Accenture is an international company, and as such, international travel is often a part of the job. Just how much depends on their specific workforce. For instance, consultants travel more than most people working on outsourcing engagements. But regardless of whether you’re on a plane or not, all of our people get international exposure by working in multi-cultural teams, and collaborating with different groups based in regions all over the world.
