In 2008 we invested over $900 million in training and professional development and provided 12 million hours of education for our people. But it’s not just about the hours spent in training. It’s making sure those hours are spent learning skills and growing knowledge.

These programs are designed to help Accenture build a pool of strong leaders as it continues to expand its business in the Philippines. Through various conferences, workshops, project management activities and individual mentoring by senior leaders, the program endeavors to provide budding executives the right set of tools for strengthening their management capacities.

This program gives select employees from the Delivery Center Network for Technology opportunities to expand their work experience through short-term assignments in other Accenture locations both local and abroad.

We offer several certification programs and postgraduate learning opportunities for employees. The Accenture Solutions Delivery Academy is one of them. This training program was designed by Accenture in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professional Education Programs and gives Accenture’s IT professionals access to coursework and highly marketable certifications developed with one of the world’s preeminent engineering schools. If successfully completed, employees receive application developer or application designer certifications from Accenture and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professional Education Programs.

Accenture also recently launched the Accenture HR Academy, an innovative capability-building program for HR professionals.
