Our History

Continuous innovation and rapid transformation have been themes throughout Accenture's history. Established in 1989 primarily as a technology consultant and systems integrator, Accenture soon began offering a new breed of business integration solutions to clients —solutions that aligned organizations' technologies, processes and people with their strategies.




The Philippines was one of the first countries Accenture identified as a key location for expanding its business. Accenture in the Philippines began as an offshore application development center catering to internal business requirements. Today, the Accenture Delivery Centers in the Philippines are one of the largest nodes in the Accenture Global Delivery Center Network. We have more than 15,000 employees in key locations in Manila and Cebu providing a full range of strategic front-end to back-end outsourcing services that include systems integration, application outsourcing, infrastructure outsourcing, and voice and data business process outsourcing (BPO) services.

Accenture is committed to grow with the outsourcing and information communications technology (ICT) industries in the Philippines. In April 2009, Accenture was awarded the Outstanding Exporter Award by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) for the second year in a row for being one of the 25 outstanding companies in the Philippines. We were also named the BPO Employer of the Year in 2008 and the BPO Company of the Year in 2007 by the International ICT Awards – Philippines.
