How do I know if I’m qualified for a position? Each position description in our Search Jobs database lists some qualifications necessary for that specific position.
If I have some work experience, am I still able to be considered for a graduate position? If you have more than 18 months of relevant full-time work experience, we will consider your background and experience against our open roles and redirect your application accordingly.
If I submit a CV for a specific position, how long will it be before I find out if I’m being considered? When you submit your CV online, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. A recruiter will contact you if we wish to discuss your CV in more detail. Please realize that due to the high volume of résumés that Accenture receives, it is not possible to contact every person who submits a CV—we will only contact those who are being considered for a position.
Should I submit my CV for every position for which I would like to be considered? Yes. Every position is filled separately, and so you should submit a CV for every position for which you would like to be considered.
Do I need to send in a hard copy of my CV? No, submitting your CV online is sufficient.

What is career progression like at Accenture? Career progression is based on merit and performance. Meritocracy is an important part of our culture and your career development. Performance management is continuous throughout the year. It provides you with feedback and guidance in managing and enhancing your performance, skills and career. Performance management is conducted using the same tools and techniques around the world, but customized for the individual. Your own career counselor will make sure you’re given accurate and objective feedback, and in turn you can ask them for advice on any aspect of your career. We want you to develop quickly, and we’ll provide the support to help you get there.
Can I change my workgroup after I have started? Consideration for transfers from one workgroup to another will be subject to your performance, aptitude and the demand for people with your background by the relevant workgroup.
Will there be a lot of overtime? Similar to your university experience, there will be peaks and troughs in workload. When we are working to meet a client deadline, you will be asked to work overtime in order to help us deliver the service and quality for which Accenture is renowned.
What are the travel requirements and what sort of opportunities are there? You may be based in Bucharest. Typically, people in our Consulting workforce travel extensively, working on assignments in both local and international locations for a range of clients. People within our Technology Solutions, Outsourcing and Corporate Functions groups typically work in a specific location with ad-hoc travel when required.
Will I feel lost working in such a huge organization? Accenture is certainly big, but it is made up of smaller, more manageable communities so you will soon feel at home in one of these. You will quickly make friends with colleagues who share your specialization and with other Accenture staff on projects.

What kind of training can I expect from Accenture? Every one of our people receives an annual allocation of training time. Although some training is mandatory, our training programs are tailored to individual needs, and the courses people take depend on their skills, experience and areas of interest.
