Accenture’s Consulting workforce is at the heart of our ability to innovate and deliver results that help create high performance. With deep specialist knowledge in business, technical and functional areas, they are involved in business consulting, process design work and the application of technology to business. This central role includes integrating all of our workforces as required.
Consulting people are highly talented and very diverse individuals, as you might expect in a global organization like Accenture. They have a wide range of backgrounds and experience, but they are all smart, committed professionals who are good communicators and problem-solvers. We need people who are able to challenge conventional thought, offer unique perspectives and conceive more innovative solutions for our clients.
Where do I fit in?
At Accenture, the groups and units in which our consulting people work are structured to suit our clients and the marketplace, and this directly affects your career development. There are two components–industry expertise and specialized skills–that together define your “specialty”. Your specialty determines your main focus of work and the kind of assignments you get, as well as the approaches and technologies that you’re likely to use.
Every member of the Consulting workforce is aligned with one of three consulting groups: Business Consulting, Solutions Engineering or Technology Consulting. These groups enable us to deliver the increasingly specialized skills that clients demand while providing enhanced career opportunities for our people.
