Accenture greets students on campus with roses

International Womens Day roses were happily received by students on campus

Accenture celebrated International Women’s day in Singapore on 7 March 2008.

In celebration of the day, and as symbol of Accenture’s commitment to recruit, retain and develop female talent, over 3000 female students received roses, distributed by the recruitment team and student volunteers, on the campuses of the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University.

Each rose was accompanied by a card that stated how women's diverse contributions are valued in Accenture and how our commitment has gained us significant accolades from top publications. Students were pleasantly surprised by the gesture and happily received the roses.

Some students who were unaware of global day of celebration were able to learn from our recruiters about the history of 8 March.

Our recruiters were also able to share the activities that Accenture takes part in to connect women around the world, and to inspire them to achieve their full potential.
