We have a dedicated team of people called the Services workforce who work on outsourcing engagements.
These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialised business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services and human resources.
We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
What Do Services Workforce People Do? We have a fast-growing team of people in our outsourcing business around the world, who come from every conceivable background and culture and possess a vast range of skills and experience.
The majority of our outsourcing people work in what we call ‘client operations’. They design, manage and implement the day-to-day activities associated with key business functions. The difference with working in one of these functions at Accenture is that you’ll be in a front-line role. You could have a customer-facing position where you’ll have opportunities to think differently, provide input to improve processes and ultimately deliver better services to clients.
In some cases, you might be working on customized, innovative services for a single client. In others, you may provide proven services to more than one client, making every day different and interesting. But you will always be focused on delivering high performance.
Accenture’s outsourcing clients include many of the world's leading companies as well as government agencies. Outsourcing relationships can last three to five years or longer, thus they provide many challenging opportunities for our people and a chance to become an integral part of the client's business.
