Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. Supply Chain Specialisation Areas: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications: professionals design, develop and deploy solutions and applications that help companies connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. Fulfillment: professionals plan and implement innovative solutions in areas such as warehouse management and operations, distribution network design, tagging and tracking, transportation management. This work also includes initiatives to increase customer service through better order management and overall fulfillment strategies. Manufacturing: professionals develop collaborative design capabilities, innovative manufacturing programs, leading-edge outsourcing approaches, and alliance relationships to accelerate speed-to-market, speed-to-volume, and time-to-profit. Pharma Compliant Manufacturing: professionals plan and deliver manufacturing solutions designed to support regulatory compliance requirements cost effectively, and integrated with other supply chain operations, such as planning. Their work may include outsourcing approaches, and alliance relationships to accelerate speed-to-market, speed-to-volume, new product introductions, and time-to-profit. Pharma Regulatory Excellence: professionals plan and deploy processes and systems to support regulatory compliance, 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, and computer systems validation for quality management. Service Management: professionals focus on designing and building operations for aftermarket (or maintenance) businesses to improve customer service, drive incremental revenues, reduce operating costs, and increase asset turnover. Sourcing & Procurement: professionals design and implement strategies that transform buying and selling with differentiating sourcing and procurement strategies, processes, technologies and organizations. Supply Chain Planning: professionals concentrate on developing and implementing integrated supply and demand planning strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness and create synergies and collaboration across companies. Supply Chain Strategy: professionals formulate strategies across supply chain functions, beyond company boundaries, and within functional areas. They have the ability to understand the effect of supply chain levers at the operating model level and to provide functional expertise in specific areas. Key responsibilities across levels may include: Consultant: Identifying opportunities for technology-related improvement based on benchmark data and doing high-level cost benefit analysis Driving technology architecture and infrastructure design activities Reviewing and supervising design components as well as developing design and transition approaches Driving and supervising technology build, test and deployment activities Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development Manager: Planning and managing business diagnosis and planning activities Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience Performing/interpreting value analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients Planning and managing effort to define to-be organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs Planning and managing business architecture implementation activities Designing and conducting business solution testing and deployment plans Monitoring achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and helping to adjust programs if necessary Senior Manager: Articulating application and integration strategy and thought leadership for business solutions Establishing total cost of ownership metrics for actual impacts of application implementation Influencing client direction based on application design and architecture Shaping and leading large-scale application design and architecture activities Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the application implementation Cultivating client relationships and driving revenue acquisition Qualification and Professional Skill Requirements Experience in Supply Chain Assessment and Strategy, Business Model Development, Business Performance Management and Transformational Outsourcing Min 2 to 10 years relevant work experience Min 3 years Bachelor's Degree or relevant Postgraduate qualification Consulting experience an advantage Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Project / programme management experience Sound business acumen Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable Click here to apply
