Describe your background
I have a Master’s Degree in Informatics—which covers both computers and economics. I spent one year at the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 1999 from Jönköping International Business School. I worked for another major consulting firm before I joined Accenture—that was in 2004.

Why did you choose Accenture?
I wanted to work for a company that sells projects and not individuals. At my previous employer, you could be sourced to a company and you'd be there alone--the only one on a "team". It’s much more fun working within a group instead of going solo to a client. I also wanted to work for a truly global company. Other business consultants claim to be global. Accenture proves it by by leveraging global knowledge and resources. They tap into people, knowledge, and methodologies from around the world. And Accenture has an excellent reputation and brand.

What do you like most about your job?
The work I do is very interesting and it’s always challenging. At Accenture you’re always moving forward; developing both your technical skills and leadership skills. When you need support, there’s always a manager you can turn to. And you get a lot of development feedback; you’re guided here in how to develop as a consultant, something I really appreciate. Another great thing about working here: my colleagues. They’re excellent—ambitious and fun.
What are you working on now?
I’ve been on a project for about a year with a telecom company. Right now I’m working on implementing an Oracle system. I’m a team lead for one of several teams on the project. I work at the client site, which is in Stockholm, so I travel up from Malmö every week—usually leaving home Monday morning and coming back Thursday night.
