We are delighted and honored to announce that Accenture Sweden has been awarded second prize in the category of large companies in the “Best Workplaces in Sweden” study for 2008.
Conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute, the annual study surveys employees from companies and organizations across Sweden, measuring what employees are most satisfied with their employers. The study also evaluates what companies have the best offers to their workforce concerning work life balance, compensation, training, and so on. This is a great success since the opinions of our own employees made it possible to reach second place. It is also exciting since this is the first year that Accenture is participating and competition was steep.
What did Accenture employees’ value that helped the company achieve this high position? Employees cited the good atmosphere, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects for a broad range of clients as reasons for giving Accenture high marks. Our people also reported feeling valued as individuals. And they appreciated Accenture’s corporate citizenship and the opportunity to give back to society through Accenture affiliated programs.
According to Accenture research, the mastery of human and organizational development is key to achieving high performance. As Accenture Sweden helps put our own clients on the road to high performance, we're pleased to be recognized as being on that path ourselves.
