The interview will focus mainly on the information contained in your application form. Your interviewer will be interested to find out more about you as a person, your life in school and other internship experiences, if any. You will also be probed on your career ambitions. Your interviewer will be looking for you to provide recent examples of interpersonal skills such as communication and initiative. In addition, he or she may want to see that you have researched your career options. All this information will allow the interviewer to assess whether you will be able to fit in the Accenture culture and work on the deliverables required by the project. An interview is a mutual assessment. Remember, this is also the opportunity for you to assess Accenture Thailand as an organisation you would like to work for. What shall I wear? Accenture believes in dressing professionally and in Thailand our dress policy is business formal. In all you do, make sure that you are comfortable with what you are wearing and that you create a good first impression. For men—tailored long-sleeved shirt, tie and pants, and black leather shoes and black socks. For women— blouse, suit jacket with skirt or pants and court shoes. How can I best prepare for my interview? This is your opportunity to convince us that you are the best candidate. To prepare for the interview, you should: Reread your application form before your interview to remind yourself of what you have written (your interviewer will refer to it during the interview). Think of recent examples you can give to demonstrate where you meet the criteria we are looking for, such as initiative. Examples can be from your academic, personal or work life. Think about what we do for clients at Accenture and, more specifically, what you would be doing if you worked for us as an analyst. If possible, speak to someone who works for the company to get a real feel for what we do, or attend one of our presentations. Give yourself plenty of time to get to our offices—there is nothing worse than arriving late and feeling flustered. Try to relax and be yourself. We are interested in getting to know you and your personality, so while an interview can be intense, try to remain calm throughout. Focus on answering the questions asked and if unsure, ask for clarification rather than answering incorrectly or appearing flustered. Keep your answers concise and do not waffle. Remember an interviewer has a lot of questions to ask and a limited amount of time in which to ask them.
