To help you get together with like-minded people and share your experiences, we support a wide range of networking groups. Groups include and cover gender, ethnicity, enablement, sexual orientation, religion and belief, age, and parents Pre-joining The welcome starts even before you join – our pre-joiners site, The Waiting Room, has lots of information on what you need to do to prepare and can answer many of your initial questions. It’s also a great place to hook up with people who, like you, are about to join us. Start group Join our Consulting arm and you’ll be part of a Start Group. These are the people who started at the same time as you, and you’ll go through the initial training and induction together. Communities Whichever part of the business you join, you’ll immediately be part of an Accenture ‘community’. Typically drawn from your Industry Group (commonly referred to as Client Service Group or CSG), business or skills area, this is an immediate network of like-minded people and should be a valuable support in the early days. Plus there are plenty of professional and social activities on offer which are a great way to get to meet people and really feel part of the team in no time at all. Orientation Once you join, the orientation process kicks in straightaway. It’s designed to help you meet your future colleagues and to tell you about day-to-day issues like processes, tools and IT packages.
