The work of our Outsourcing team is all about freeing our clients up to focus on what they do best—their core businesses. As well as assuming responsibility for areas such as software maintenance, finance and human resources, Services also improves clients’ key business processes, enabling them to work more efficiently.
As one of the pioneers of outsourcing, we have over 10 years of experience in transforming and managing our clients’ business operations and processes. We have a dedicated team of people called the Services workforce who work on outsourcing engagements.
These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialised business processes, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services and HR.
Today, we’re still leading the way and this part of our business is growing by an average of 35 percent annually, accounting for nearly a third of our total revenue.
The type and scale of projects we handle is hugely varied. For example, we’ve worked with Thames Water, helping it to rethink its logistics and procurement processes to fit with efficiency targets and international growth plans. And for Rhodia, a global chemical company, we’re managing a major part of their European finance function.
We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition by becoming high-performance businesses.
You will be most probably be assigned to one of our business units or one of our cross-industry business process outsourcing services.
Join any of these teams and you’ll have the chance to tackle some of the biggest and best projects around. You’ll likely learn faster than you would anywhere else and you’ll stay right up to date with the latest thinking and practice in the world of outsourcing. It’s also a unique job in that, although you’ll be working for Accenture, you’ll probably be based on a client site and will feel very much part of the client’s organisation.
In the Outsourcing workforce, we have a high diversity of profiles. Overall, we are looking for strong team players who have experience in our activity domains such as application outsourcing, IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing. Most functions within Outsourcing are local, but some also have an international dimension.
All year round, graduates and experienced professionals join our Outsourcing workforce as application outsourcing sales and solution architects, application outsourcing service managers, test professionals, specialists and operational professionals for Accenture business services and finance, accounting and procurement business process outsourcing specialists.
