EMC Consulting Our five-year ‘business transformation outsourcing’ partnership with EMC Consulting began in 2002. EMC provide information storage consulting services designed to help customers measurably and rapidly improve the way they store and use information. Under our agreement, EMC have retained responsibility for strategy and sales while Accenture provides dedicated resources and manages the delivery of EMC Consulting-related services. QinetiQ - Farnborough In April 2003, we created a whole new IS services unit for this science and technology consultancy. The aim of this project was to deliver a more efficient IS service right across the client’s different business area and we have so far exceeded the terms of our client service agreement on all counts. We have permanent and temporary contracts in this unit for IT specialists, who have been security cleared. Thames Water – Bracknell As the largest water utility company in the United Kingdom, Thames Water supplies over 12 million customers across the 5,000-square-mile London and Thames Valley region. We have been a key partner since 1995, supplying IT, supply chain management, logistics, accounts payable and procurement outsourcing services. To give an idea of the scale of our contribution, we have saved Thames Water over $150 million on Supply Chain Management alone. For this client, we require people in the following areas: IT, accountancy and finance, logistics and procurement. Utilities – Staines/Chertsey This client is a major provider of gas, electricity, roadside services and telecoms to homes across the UK. They are implementing a new customer interface and billing system in order to improve their flexibility and customer focus and our 50-strong team is using Siebel, Seebeyond, SAP and Production Support skills to bolster the systems required for the implementation. In this unit, we look for IT specialists with experience of Siebel, Seebeyond, SAP and Production Support.
