As well as our networks, our clubs and societies cater for a huge range of interests outside work. So whether shinning up rock faces is your thing, or you’re happiest with your nose buried in a glass of fine wine, there’s a good chance you’ll find some like minds to share your passion with.

Below are our current clubs and societies:

• Accenture Adventures: For Accenture people who want to take part in outdoor activities throughout the year. Group activities include walking, hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, horse riding,
  scuba diving, wakeboarding and paintball.
• Adventure racing: A group for those interested in the increasingly popular team-sport involving cross-country running, mountain biking and kayaking, whilst map reading and puzzle-solving. Allows our people to join a community of 100 keen adventure racers who compete in around six to eight events per year across Britain.
• Badminton: An opportunity for employees of all levels of experience to attend weekly social badminton games in a Central London location.
• Basketball: The team entered The London Corporate Games and reached the final. Our employees can join weekly London-based games and annual corporate games.
• Dragonboat racing: An opportunity for our people to participate in a fun, yet highly competitive sport that originated in China over 2,500 years ago and is now a popular sport amongst professional and recreational athletes alike.
• Football in London: Our people are invited to join this group as an individual or a team, and enjoy weekly matches.
• Football in Manchester: Employees can join this group to receive news and join weekly matches from this 11-a-side team which is taking part in the Manchester Accountants football league.
• Hockey: An opportunity to join a London-based mixed team open to players of all abilities. Employees play weekly fixtures against other companies and teams throughout the year, cup challenges and friendlies.
• Netball: A London-based netball team that plays regularly in a social league, with games to suit all standards of players.
• Rugby: Our people can join this team to play regular games against local South West social teams. There are numerous social events throughout the season and the team tries to go on a tour at least once a year.
• Tennis: An opportunity for employees of all levels to join in regular social tennis events in and around London.
• Touch rugby: This group hosts many social events including evening socials, weekend tournaments and tours/weekend trips. Touch rugby or touch, as it is known, is a minimal contact sport that is played worldwide by men, women and children of all ages. Games are played throughout the United Kingdom.
• Triathlon: Open to employees of all levels and abilities, whether they enjoy running, cycling, swimming or simply want to give triathlon a go.
• UK Ski Racing team: This group takes high-standard ski race teams to represent Accenture in the global intraoffice ski race and the “City Ski Championships”, where Accenture races against financial services companies. It is open to all who aspire to speed down a mountainside, or compete in slalom and giant slalom races with Accenture people from around the world.

• Language: This is a new group keen to find out how much interest Accenture people have for learning languages. Our employees are invited to enjoy the experience of learning about foreign languages and different cultures.
• Londongrad Accenture Russian Community: Open to all Accenture employees with an interest in developing knowledge of Russian economy, business, culture and language—and expanding their professional network. Join this interest group to learn more about the community and events.
• Records: This group welcomes music lovers of any genre to share their passion for music. Members take turns to play the music they enjoy and employees do not have to be a professional deejays or have a huge collection of music to take part.
• UK Music Society: This group supports participation in musical activities, so that our people, whether performers or enthusiasts, can join in and get involved. The group runs the Accenture Choir and are setting up a jazz/swing band. It is also committed to providing assistance to anyone wishing to form any kind of musical group.
• Wine tasting: This society organises wine-tasting events that cover the various wine-producing regions of the world.

• Community: Accenture provides a quarterly Good News newsletter which showcases Accenture people who are passionate about the community and gives them an opportunity to come together to share ideas and change the way the world works and lives.
• Environment Action Group: This group is the forum for anyone who is interested in environmental issues and who wants to make a difference at work and at home.
• Politics and policy: An opportunity for our employees to meet leading politicians, political thinkers and attend events relating to politics and public policy.
