We offer a variety of initiatives and opportunities for employees to get involved, including: Done in A Day Volunteering: Where employees can help enhance schools, parks, neighborhoods, and more, working with our national partners such as Points of Light/Hands on Network. Skills Based Volunteering: This gives employees the opportunity to serve in a way that will develop their careers while also having a measurable social impact. Eco Volunteering: Designed to leverage the expertise and enthusiasm of our employees to reduce Accenture’s environmental impact and gain recognition as a leader in sustainability. Volunteering Internationally: Our Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) and Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP) programs enable Accenture people to work abroad in developing countries, sharing their skills, knowledge and experience with nonprofit organizations, small businesses and local communities. Here are some of the highlights from 2007: Accenture hosted more than 425 volunteer events and programs in its locations across the US, which supported women, children, families and the elderly Accenture employees contributed more than 87,000 hours of pro bono services to not for profit organizations More than 140 employees from 13 countries participated in Accenture Development Partnerships projects, delivering more than 70,000 hours of not-for-profit consulting services to 26 organizations in 25 developing countries More than 100 employees climbed Mt.
