Starting a new job is an exciting time, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. We’d like to offer a few tips to help ease the transition to a new company and provide an overview of what to expect during your first few days and months with Accenture.
Here are a few tips from our recruiters on how to prepare for your first day.
Be prepared
All Accenture new hires attend Accenture Orientation on their first day. Orientation is held at a local Accenture office from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Prepare for your first day of orientation by: - Confirming logistics: Confirm with your recruiter the dates and location for your Orientation Class. If you are attending an Orientation in an office other than your home office, ask your recruiter about travel expense reimbursement.
- Learning your new commute: Verify that you have accurate directions, travel times, parking options or public transportation schedules to the local office. Click here for local office information, including the telephone number that you can call if you have general office location questions. If your Orientation location is different than your home office, don’t forget to check both.
- Bringing necessary documentation: During orientation, you’ll need to confirm employment eligibility, set-up direct deposit for paychecks and complete your tax forms. Please bring a voided check for the direct deposit and the right documentation to establish your identity and employment eligibility.
