Our compensation philosophy is geared towards providing competitive rewards to all employees and “above market” rewards to top-performing employees. In addition to base salary, some Accenture employees are eligible for variable pay, overtime pay and other performance rewards, as well as Accenture equity acquired through share option grants and discounted share purchases.
New employees are eligible to contribute to a 401(k) account through payroll deductions on their first day of work. Eligible employees receive a matching contribution from Accenture for every $1 they contribute up to a maximum employee contribution of 6 percent of salary. Employees aged 21 or older will become eligible for the 401(k) match on the January 1 or July 1 after completing one year of service. You are always 100 percent vested in your own employee contributions; you will be 100 percent vested in the employer matching contributions after two years of service.
Managing personal finances is an important responsibility that can be challenging and time consuming. As an employee at Accenture, you’ll have access to tools and resources to help you manage your finances.
