Conferences and Events. At Accenture, our network is broad. We collaborate with outside organizations to both share and learn best practices, and we believe that strong relationships with national diversity and women’s organizations are central to our continued success. Below are some of the recent entities with which we collaborate:

National interest groups enable colleagues of similar backgrounds to build a community and gain valuable skills and information. We have interest groups across our US offices for: Abilities Access, African American, American Indian, Asian Pacific American, Experienced Hire, Gay & Lesbian, Hispanic American, Interfaith, Men, Military, Multicultural*, Work/Life Strategy, and Women. Mentoring programs provide opportunity for candid dialogue and guidance on career issues for women and ethnic minority professionals.

Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender programs include an employee networking group, extensive diversity training that includes gay, lesbian and transgender workplace topics, and long-standing employee benefits for same-sex domestic partners. Our diversity recruiting initiatives help ensure we attract top talent. We have relationships with national minority and women organizations, recruit at historically black colleges and universities and Hispanic-serving institutions; and offer a series of scholarships for diverse junior/community college students.

Our supplier diversity initiative provides qualified and certified women and other diverse suppliers equal opportunity to participate in Accenture’s procurement sourcing process. Learn more.
