Second Life, the Internet phenomenon that enables millions and millions of “residents” to move and fly around a virtual world, is a perfect place to do just that. Visit our new Careers Island in Second Life to experience Accenture in a whole new way.
Stop by our Careers Central building, where you can learn a bit more about our career offerings and some of the interesting people who are part of the Accenture team- in English, Spanish, French, German or Italian.
Explore the interview building, where we conduct in-world interviews with potential hire candidates. Or peruse the event auditorium to see if we have any upcoming events where you can get to know other like-minded people on the island.
Or if you’re in the mood to test your in-world skills, try your hand at our Second Life challenges that push you physically and mentally and test your ability to work as a team member. The challenges are fun, challenging and pretty addictive, and you’ll want to see your name on the winners’ leaderboard posted on the island. Play on your own, or with a friend or colleague.
If your you want to share a challenge try Maze Mates, and navigate your way through a complex 3D maze as quickly as you can, then jump over to the Disc challenge where you and your team have to counterbalance each other across four discs. Sounds easy…
If you want to make it personal then try one of the physical challenges such as the Test Flight. It’s a fun test of your accuracy and powers of deduction- and provides you with the unique opportunity to fling yourself at a giant target! When you’re done there, test your recall with some of our memory challenges. How much detail can you remember from a complex image? How does your memory work under time pressure?
All your physical, mental and team problem solving skills will be tested in our Second Life challenges.
You can take an aerial tour of the island or a more leisurely boat ride. In the island’s orientation area we tell you exactly how to get the most out of the island, the challenges and Second Life.
