Accenture is one of the world's leading management consulting, technology services and outsourcing companies. And we strongly believe that attracting, retaining and promoting women is critical to the success of our company. That's why we're hosting the Accenture Women's Networking Forum, a series of one-day networking events this fall for top female students in their junior or senior year.
Centered on the theme of time management, these events will help female students learn how to juggle their work and personal life roles successfully, enabling them to build rewarding careers. Accenture female senior executives will also describe how they maintained the focus and dedication required to become leaders at Accenture without having to sacrifice their personal priorities.
Selected women will attend a one-day event at the local Accenture office closest to their university and: - Network and build relationships with top Accenture female employees, along with top women from other universities
- Gain valuable exposure to the business world and build leadership skills to use in any academic or business setting
- Get a realistic preview of what it's like to be an Accenture employee
- Explore career paths within Accenture and understand what we are seeking in future employees
- Learn how to successfully overcome challenges women face in the workplace
You'll also hear about how through Accenture's Global Women’s Initiative, we’ve established many programs to retain and advance our female employees, including flexible work arrangements, networking groups, and mentoring programs.
Here are just a few comments from former attendees about their experience:
"This event really gave me a head start on planning for after college. I learned many things about what I can be doing now that will give me better chance in the job market."
"It was interesting to her personal challenges women face at work and how they deal with them."
"The networking forum was great! I walked away with tips and ideas I can use as a student as well as a professional."
"The format of the day made it so I felt comfortable asking questions that I probably would not have asked during an interview."
This session really helped me get a better understanding of the type of work I could be doing if I were to work for Accenture.
