Accenture received top honors as “Consulting Firm of the Year” from the prestigious Institute of Management Consultants of Norway and Konsulentguiden. The purpose of the award is to recognize the companies that have made the most significant contributions to the industry.
Accenture was recognized as the industry leader for a number of different reasons:

• Its work with complex projects such as Altinn, a public administration contract considered to be one of the most challenging in the industry.
• Its commitment to corporate citizenship efforts in the form of programs with Save the Children, among others.
• Its support of doctoral students and research programs at NHH, BI and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

The judges also acknowledged the Accenture innovation center in Norway, which has close contact with the company's global innovation centers and domestic and international academic organizations.
